Hepytech is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Bandung. You will be responsible for building robust server-side architectures and managing complex databases while ensuring seamless API integrations for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in Backend Development, proficiency in Golang or Laravel, and familiarity with SQL databases. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance server-side business logic.
• Manage and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• Implement data security standards.
• Contribute to system architecture planning.

Skills

Proficiency in Golang or Laravel

You will be responsible for building robust server-side architectures, managing complex databases, and ensuring seamless API integrations for various large-scale projects. Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, efficient server-side business logic.
• Manage and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL) while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Build and maintain stable RESTful APIs for consumption by frontend and mobile applications.
• Identify system bottlenecks and perform query optimization and caching (Redis) to improve response times.
• Implement data security standards and protection against common backend vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to system architecture planning ready to handle high traffic and data growth.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Backend Development (talent such as fresh graduates with a strong project portfolio are welcome).
• Core Skills: Proficiency in Golang or the Laravel framework.
• Database: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL concepts.
• Version Control: Solid experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Familiarity: Hands‑on experience with Docker, Redis, and Message Brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ) is a significant plus.
• Testing: Understanding of unit testing concepts to ensure high‑quality code.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently or within a team with excellent communication skills.
