Job summary

PetroSea is seeking an Environment Officer under the Safety, Health, and Environment directorate to manage environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and protection efforts. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in environmental management, sustainability, or compliance.
• Fluent in English; strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with mining and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization complies with all environmental regulations, laws, and standards at local, national, and international levels.
• Successfully executed Environmental Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
• Drive the development of environmental management plans and sustainability strategies aligned with the company’s broader business goals.
• Managing Sustainability & Environmental Performance
• Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks (e.g., pollution, resource depletion, waste management), ensuring the implementation of risk control measures.

• Managing environmental risks for the long term of the company
• Track and report on environmental targets, providing updates on progress toward sustainability goals and recommending actions for continuous improvement.
• Monitoring, reporting, and documentation about Environment
• Take an active role as role model to provide guide in upholding ethics and integrity in supporting company’s ethical culture.
• Zero tolerance to fraud (including bribery)
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility, including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome
