Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for oil and gas exploration activities. You will inspect surface materials, piping, equipment, and structural works, and perform QC tasks including NDT/NDE methods in field conditions, sometimes in remote areas.

The role requires ASNT Level II and Welding Inspector certifications, strong knowledge of API/ANSI/ASME/ASTM standards, and a good command of English. ISO 9001:2015 familiarity is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or exploration activities.
• Experience in Quality Control of materials, piping and surface equipment, construction, and structural works.
• Field experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inspection and Quality Control methods, including NDT/NDE.
• Familiarity with API 6A, API 5L, API 598, API 2B, API 520, and ANSI/ASME/ASTM standards.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and other QA standards.
• Holding ASNT Level II (or equivalent) in RT/UT/MPI/DPT.
• Holding a Welding Inspector certification.
• Able to work in remote areas and pass Jaeger near-vision test.
• Good command of English, verbal and written.
• Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
