Job summary

Jobtailor in Jakarta is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to lead inspection activities for oil and gas exploration and production projects. You will perform material QC for tubular OCTG and subsurface/surface equipment, applying NDT/NDE methods and following API, ANSI, ASME, BSI, and EN standards.

This is a field-based role with remote locations as needed. Requires 5+ years in oil & gas QA/QC, certifications like ISO 9001:2015 Auditor or API Q1 preferred, and willingness to work in

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or higher in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas production/exploration activities, particularly in QA/QC of materials and equipment.
Extensive knowledge of QA/QC and inspection methods including NDT/NDE.
Familiarity with API, ANSI, ASME, BSI and EN standards.
ISO 9001:2015 Auditor, API Q1 or other QMS certifications preferred.
NACE Level II or equivalent preferred.
ASNT Level II in RT/UT/MPI/DPT preferred.
Valid Welding Inspector certification.
Good English communication; field/remote work ability.

Valid Welding Inspector certification
Good knowledge of inspection procedures and specifications relevant to QA/QC activities
Ability and willingness to work in field/remote locations
Ability to pass a Jaeger near-vision test
Good command of English, both verbal and written
Strong, professional, and good interpersonal skills
