Job summary

Pt Hm Sampoerna Tbk. in Surabaya is seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Specialist to lead outreach initiatives and connect with local communities.

This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with flexible remote work to plan programs that benefit residents and expand service reach. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in social sciences or related field, 2–4 years of experience, excellent Bahasa Indonesia and English communication, and strong project management and event coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in community engagement, social work, public relations, or similar role.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse community groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; can manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with event planning and coordination.
• Familiarity with East Java region is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute community outreach initiatives and events to raise awareness about available services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and residents in Surabaya.
• Identify and assess the needs of the community, ensuring services are accessible and relevant.
• Facilitate workshops, information sessions, and support groups both in-person and virtually.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and improve service delivery based on community feedback.
• Track engagement metrics and provide regular reports on outreach activities and their effectiveness.
• Assist in the development of communication materials, including brochures, social media content, and newsletters.
• Act as a liaison between the community and the organization, advocating for client needs.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new community members into available programs.
