Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs is seeking a Supply Chain Planner 1 to join our team in Indonesia. You will plan manufacturing and distribution orders using the o9 planning platform or an ERP system, ensuring adherence to documented procedures and upstream/downstream requirements.

You will monitor schedules, manage risks, report KPI results, and collaborate with TPU, R&D and material operations to drive efficiency and availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain planning and production scheduling.
• Ability to plan manufacturing and distribution orders.
• Familiar with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure process adherence and use of documented procedures.
• Plan manufacturing and distribution orders using o9 or ERP systems.
• Fine schedule planning and optimization of the supply plan.
• Track schedule realization and support countermeasures for delays.
• Determine delivery options for customer project requests.
• Revise and maintain essential planning parameters in ERP/APS.
• Prepare and report planning KPIs and participate in escalation handling.
• Plan, control, scrap and replenish subassemblies and finished goods.
• Proactively manage risks and breakdowns affecting availability.
• Investigate and report process and technology exceptions for efficiency.
• Prepare capacity reports and coordinate with TPU for capacity requests.
• Maintain proactive communications with Supply Chain interfaces.
• Participate in S&OP and S&OE for the portfolio.
• Understand production concepts to make planning decisions.
• Execute engineering changes with TPU, R&D, and materials ops.
• Ensure availability of internal sub-assemblies for pilot runs and prototypes.

Supply Chain Planner 1

• Ensure process adherence and use of best practices by executing the documented operational procedures
• Planning of manufacturing and distribution orders based on o9 planning platform or advanced planning system / ERP system in consideration of the upstream and downstream requirements
• Fine schedule planning and optimization of the supply plan considering short-term and long-term upcoming problems and prioritization of bottlenecks to provide detailed and executable production plan
• Tracking of schedule realization by production and support for counter measures in case of delays
• Determination of delivery options for customer project requests including effects on current supply plan in case of prioritization
• Revise and execute maintenance of essential planning parameters in the ERP / other planning system
• Prepare and report planning relevant KPI’s – SFM participation incl. escalation (handling of escalation cases, etc.)
• Plan, control, scrap and replenish subassembly and finished goods inventory
• Pro-actively manage risks and breakdowns (focus on managing impact on availability…) in the supply chain and propose action plans to avoid delivery problems
• Responsible to investigate and report on process and technology exceptions to drive towards efficiency and effectiveness, as part of the continuous improvement process.
• Prepare the capacity request report and meeting with respective total production unit (TPU) and responsible for capacity request, aligned with the overall S&OP process.
• Maintain proactive communications with Supply Chain interfaces to ensure minimal impact to our stakeholders and customers
• Participate and contribute actively in the S&OP and S&OE process for their respective portfolio.
• Understand production concept and product knowledge to make the right decision for planning.
• Execute engineering changes with support from TPU, R&D and material operations
• Responsible to plan and ensure availability of P+F internal sub-assembly for pilot run, prototype, evaluation, first order quantity.
