Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure aligned planning for manufacturing and distribution orders within ERP environments. You will optimize schedules, monitor execution, and mitigate risks to maintain supply availability.

Key responsibilities include KPI reporting, S&OP participation, and proactive collaboration with TPU and R&D for change execution and capacity planning. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP planning and S&OP processes.
• Ability to plan manufacturing and distribution orders with upstream and downstream awareness.
• Proactive risk management in the supply chain and escalation handling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize the supply plan, considering short- and long-term needs and bottlenecks.
• Track schedule realization and support countermeasures for delays.
• Determine delivery options for customer requests and adjust plans accordingly.
• Revise and maintain planning parameters in ERP/PLM systems.
• Prepare and report planning KPIs and participate in S&OP processes.
• Ensure availability of subassemblies and finished goods, manage inventory.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member for the following position:Supply Chain Planner 1Ensure process adherence and use of best practices by executing the documented operational proceduresPlanning of manufacturing and distribution orders based on o9 planning platform or advanced planning system / ERP system in consideration of the upstream and downstream requirementsFine schedule planning and optimization of the supply plan considering short-term and long-term upcoming problems and prioritization of bottlenecks to provide detailed and executable production planTracking of schedule realization by production and support for counter measures in case of delaysDetermination of delivery options for customer project requests including effects on current supply plan in case of prioritizationRevise and execute maintenance of essential planning parameters in the ERP / other planning systemPrepare and report planning relevant KPI’s – SFM participation incl. escalation (handling of escalation cases, etc.)Plan, control, scrap and replenish subassembly and finished goods inventoryPro-actively manage risks and breakdowns (focus on managing impact on availability…) in the supply chain and propose action plans to avoid delivery problemsResponsible to investigate and report on process and technology exceptions to drive towards efficiency and effectiveness, as part of the continuous improvement process.Prepare the capacity request report and meeting with respective total production unit (TPU) and responsible for capacity request, aligned with the overall S&OP process.Maintain proactive communications with Supply Chain interfaces to ensure minimal impact to our stakeholders and customersParticipate and contribute actively in the S&OP and S&OE process for their respective portfolio.Understand production concept and product knowledge to make the right decision for planning.Execute engineering changes with support from TPU, R&D and material operationsResponsible to plan and ensure availability of P+F internal sub-assembly for pilot run, prototype, evaluation, first order quantity.Are you excited about this opportunity?
