PT Wastec International seeks an experienced WWT Plant Manager to oversee operations, ensuring optimal wastewater treatment processes and compliance with environmental standards.
The role includes supervising treatment units, adjusting chemical dosing, identifying pollution sources, and developing reuse/recycle initiatives. A Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of experience and PPPA certification is required.
Responsible for overall operational management of the WWT Plant, ensuring wastewater treatment processes run optimally. The role involves supervision and control of wastewater treatment processes, operation and optimization of physical-chemical-biological treatment units, and identification of wastewater pollution sources from production processes and supporting activities.
Oversee and manage WWT Plant operations comprehensively, ensuring optimal wastewater treatment processes
Supervise and control wastewater treatment processes, including determining chemical dosages based on wastewater characteristics and conditions
Operate, monitor, and optimize physical-chemical-biological treatment units
Identify wastewater pollution sources from production processes and supporting activities
Determine and evaluate wastewater characteristics including physical, chemical, and biological parameters as basis for treatment process control
Assess wastewater pollution levels and determine corrective and preventive actions required
Monitor and evaluate WWT treatment process performance, identify potential process disruptions, and provide improvement solutions
Develop wastewater reuse/recycle processes to support water use efficiency and sustainable environmental management
Prepare wastewater quality monitoring plans including monitored parameters, sampling frequency, monitoring methods, and evaluation of results
Implement and oversee periodic wastewater quality monitoring and ensure results are properly documented
Minimum S1 education, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years work experience in wastewater management/WWT
PPPA Certification
Currently or previously served as WWT Responsible Person
Experience in determining chemical dosages for wastewater treatment processes
Experience in operation and troubleshooting of MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) and UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket)
Understanding of pollution source identification and wastewater characteristics
Understanding of wastewater pollution level assessment methods
Understanding of wastewater reuse/recycle processes
Able to prepare and implement wastewater quality monitoring plans
