Job summary

I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking a skilled Supervisor Injection to join our engineering team in Bintan, Riau Islands. This full-time role oversees injection moulding operations, leads technicians, and ensures quality, safety and efficiency in manufacturing.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years in injection moulding supervision, strong leadership, and proficiency in technical drawings and production systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in injection moulding supervision or a similar supervisory role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all injection moulding operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and meet established production schedules.
• Monitor injection moulding equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Lead, supervise and train a team of injection moulding technicians, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of moulded products to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols across the injection moulding department.
• Identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities, and work with management to implement enhancements.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, troubleshooting equipment problems and process deviations.
• Liaise with quality assurance, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide regular feedback and performance reviews to team members and support their professional development.

About the role

I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking a skilled and dedicated Supervisor Injection to join our engineering team in Bintan, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing injection moulding operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As Supervisor Injection, you will be responsible for managing injection moulding processes, leading a team of technicians, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulations. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations and directly impacts our product quality and operational excellence.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in injection moulding supervision or a similar supervisory role in manufacturing
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, equipment and best practices
• In-depth understanding of quality control principles and ability to implement quality assurance measures
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding manufacturing specifications
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards with knowledge of HSE protocols
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with production management systems and basic computer skills
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing, engineering supervision or quality management are preferred
