Job summary

Matana University is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate recording of transactions, and manage bank reconciliations.

You will oversee AP/AR, VAT and income tax compliance, assist in budgeting, and prepare periodic financial reports with analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in accounting with 2+ years supervising, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with office applications.
• Good understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and confidentiality abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting activities including recording transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, manage AP/AR, and ensure tax compliance.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and cash flow analysis.
• Assist in budgeting and monitor financial performance.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with internal/external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and income taxes (PPh 21/23/25/29) and e-Faktur.
• Handle petty cash and bank mutations reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and high integrity.

Job description

Manage and oversee daily accounting, including transaction recording, bank account reconciliation, AP, AR and taxation

Prepare periodic financial reports, ensuring accuracy of financial data and cash flow reports with comprehensive analysis

Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance

Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, including VAT, income tax (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, PPh 29), e-Faktur, and Coretax

Prepare supporting documentation for audit and coordinate with internal/external auditors

Coordinate reports related to bank mutations and balances, expenditure and income plans

Handle and verify Petty Cash

About you

Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years of team supervision experience

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications

Good understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and team management capabilities

Meticulous, trustworthy, with high integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
