Job summary

Plan International Indonesia seeks a Consultant to coordinate safety and security across Jakarta and field offices. You will update staff on safety alerts, maintain emergency communications, and ensure SOPs are current. You will deliver trainings, drills, and risk assessments while supporting NFI distribution logistics.

The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires strong planning, leadership, and English proficiency. Based in Jakarta with travel to field offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Administration or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant safety & security experience, preferably in NGO or humanitarian settings
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security updates to all staff and close coordination with field offices
• Coordinate with Safety Focal Persons in each office for briefings and updates
• Prepare and regularly update Safety & Security SOPs and related packs
• Conduct safety drills and trainings including HEAT and first aid
• Prepare high-quality safety and security reports for management and partners
