Job summary

AIA in Jakarta, Indonesia seeks an experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead enterprise risk management initiatives across the group. You will partner with the Board, risk committees, and executives to strengthen the risk framework and ensure regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities include implementing risk processes, performing assessments, analytics, and reporting, while driving ongoing improvements and promoting risk awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; CRM certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise risk management experience in life insurance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Board, Risk Committees, and executives in developing and maintaining a Risk Management Framework.
• Ensure sound implementation and continuous improvement of Operational Risk Management across directorates, products, and strategic programs.
• Plan and execute Operational Risk Management processes including risk registers, RCA, control testing, incident logs, issue management, KRIs, and third-party assessments.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments for new initiatives, regulations, products and emerging risks, with advisory recommendations.
• Develop data-driven risk analytics to monitor key risk trends and report insights to stakeholders.
• Review policies, standards, and SOPs for adequacy and regulatory relevance.
• Assist with external and internal audit activities to ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Prepare regular risk profile reports for board, committees, Group, and regulators.
• Promote risk awareness through regular communication and training/socialization programs.
