Job summary

Modinity Group in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Buying/Merchandising professional to define quantities for new and restock collections based on sales forecasts and to plan weekly distribution patterns for new and existing lines.

You will collaborate with the Merchandising Sales & Distribution team to ensure timely product placement, develop purchase plans, monitor stock metrics, and drive promotional strategies aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Minimum 3 years in retail fashion buying/merchandising.
• Strong merchandising trend knowledge and industry best practices.
• Deep knowledge of fashion industry trends and issues.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel literacy.

Responsibilities

• Define quantities for new and restock collections based on sales forecasts.
• Plan and monitor weekly distribution patterns for new and existing collections.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Sales & Distribution team to ensure timely and accurate product placement.
• Develop plan for product purchase and store assortment.
• Monitor stock turnover rates (STR) and aging Stock to Sales Ratio (SSR), implementing action plans to optimize performance.
• Review and analyze store performance, creating action plans for improvement.
• Design and manage promotion plans to drive sales and align with business goals.
• Conduct performance analysis to support decision-making in buying, distribution, and pricing.
