Job summary

MAP Active Asia is seeking a skilled Merchandise Planner to optimize stock, forecast demand, and drive profitability across channels in Jakarta. You will develop plans for sales, inventory, margins, and Open-to-Buy budgets, collaborating with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Retail teams to ensure product availability and strong sell-through.

Qualifications

• Experience in Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or Retail Planning.
• Strong forecasting and inventory management knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with retail planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop merchandise plans, including sales, inventory, margin, and stock targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts and demand plans based on historical performance, market trends, and commercial goals.
• Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets and inventory investments to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, sell-through, stock turn, WOS, inventory productivity, and gross margin.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Retail teams on buying plans, replenishment strategies, inventory allocation, and product availability.
• Support seasonal planning, in-season reforecasting, markdown strategies, and business reviews to drive sales and profitability.
