Job summary

PT Taekwang Indonesia is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage purchasing activities aligned with production and material needs. The role includes creating and monitoring POs, evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating with suppliers to mitigate shortages.

You will prepare regular purchasing reports to support cost control and efficiency. Ideal candidates hold a D3/S1 in relevant fields, demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills, are proficient in Microsoft Excel,

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Management, Statistics, Logistics, SCM or related field.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good English communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities based on production and material requirements.
• Create and monitor Purchase Orders (PO).
• Evaluate sources and suppliers/vendors, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on material shortages and delivery disruptions.
• Prepare purchasing reports and support cost control activities.
