Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Pricing Strategy Specialist to support pricing initiatives, campaign evaluations, and strategic planning. The role combines actuarial expertise with analytical insight to turn data into actionable business decisions.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Distribution and other stakeholders, delivering clear insights for leadership and shaping new pricing concepts in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of a recognized actuarial body required (FSAI, FSA, or equivalent).
• At least 2 years in actuarial, pricing, strategic planning, or analytics.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and actuarial modeling software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, curious, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing-related campaign evaluations from pre-launch to post-launch.
• Develop and maintain campaign pricing and effectiveness-review frameworks.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Finance, Risk to evaluate initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for ad hoc pricing, product, and market questions.
• Produce clear insights to support leadership decisions.
• Prepare presentations and reports for reviews and leadership meetings.
• Support annual strategic planning, including product mix targets and roadmaps.
• Monitor progress against strategic plans and recommend actions.
• Contribute to market research, pilot pricing models, and business cases.
