Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a senior Corporate FP&A professional to prepare corporate financial management reports, executive committee packages, and dynamic financial models. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Financial Modelling, or Financial Consolidation Reporting.
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, or heavy industries is preferred.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong coordination skills, and professional integrity.
• Advanced financial modelling (3‑statement models), valuation concepts, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic baseline and post‑transaction financial models to support independent valuation firms in assessing transaction impacts and determining fair value for intercompany transactions.
• Review and evaluate transaction documentation such as term sheets, contracts, and financial breakdowns to prepare and supply required data packages to KJPP for fairness opinion reviews.
• Build and maintain financial models on a periodic or ad hoc basis to support asset revaluations and routine impairment testing.
• Prepare detailed quarterly internal financial reports tracking P&L, cash flow, and active loan/debt transactions.
• Develop monthly executive committee reporting packages to support leadership strategic decision‑making.
• Liaise closely with Corporate Planning and operational teams/accounting to streamline data collection, conduct site variance analyses, and track current vs. forecasted site performance.
• Continuously enhance financial modelling templates and reporting tools to increase accuracy and reporting efficiency.
