Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to implement health and safety management programs in our Food Enterprise. You will ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards while developing emergency response plans and training.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident reporting, audits, and supporting certification processes. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and can collaborate across functions to embed safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Capable to persuade, inspire, and guide teams toward safer practices.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental health and safety risks, opportunities and impacts, standards and regulations and advise on potential impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement programs and processes in alignment with government regulations, ISO management systems, and corporate guidelines.
• Deliver environmental health and safety activities, including emergency response plan, incident and accident management, training implementation and evacuation drills.
• Handle EH&S related records and reporting.
• Participate in and support regular EH&S audits and certification programs.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
