Job summary

Golden Agri Resources, based in Jakarta, seeks a Procurement Specialist to help develop and implement sourcing strategies through research and market analysis, and enhance procurement intelligence.

You will assist procurement preparation processes, monitor SRM entries, negotiate with suppliers for best terms, ensure PO compliance, coordinate deliveries, run SRM bidding, and explore alternative vendors while tracking outstanding orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial) or Mechanical.
• 2-3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement/Purchasing (maintenance, repair, operations).
• Strong analytical thinking and understanding of procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of sourcing strategies through research and analysis.
• Assist procurement preparation process and documents per company policies.
• Monitor procurement requests and SRM list entries under Procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, conditions, and requirements with suppliers to obtain best terms.
• Check and monitor availability of goods/services per Purchase Order requirements.
• Coordinate delivery timing from suppliers to SBUs according to needs and budgets.
• Perform SRM bidding and create QCF as basis for Purchase Orders.
• Actively seek alternative vendors or sub-contractors when necessary.
• Monitor and follow up outstanding Purchase Orders.
