Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily retail operations in Jakarta. You will drive sales targets, supervise a sales team, and ensure premium customer service and store standards across assigned locations.

You will oversee merchandising, inventory, reporting, and adherence to SOPs while coordinating with Area Managers to achieve business objectives. Previous retail leadership in home appliances is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail operations or store management.
• Experience leading sales teams and achieving targets in home appliances or consumer goods.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship abilities.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and store administration.
• Willing to work on shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to be assigned to retail store locations across Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall daily operations of the assigned retail store to ensure smooth business execution.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective planning, coaching, and performance management.
• Supervise, motivate, and develop the sales team to maximize productivity and sales performance.
• Monitor individual and team KPIs, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards and deliver a premium customer experience.
• Oversee product displays, merchandising standards, store cleanliness, and visual presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and coordinate replenishment with relevant departments.
• Prepare operational reports, sales performance reports, and store activity reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational procedures, pricing policies, and promotional campaigns.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Coordinate with Area Managers and internal departments to support business objectives and operational improvements.
• Conduct regular team meetings, product knowledge sessions, and sales training to improve team capability.
