Qualifications

• Pengalaman 2–5 tahun dalam penjualan peralatan laut atau produk serupa.
• Pemahaman tentang sistem penggerak laut dan peralatan tambahan.
• Kemampuan menerjemahkan spesifikasi teknis menjadi proposal komersial.

Deskripsi

Serata Engineering (Serata.co.id) is looking for a Sales Engineer for our Serata Engineering division. With the growing market in the marine industry, The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth of marine generator sets and related marine equipment & supplies. This role combines technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities, develop relationships with shipyards, vessel owners, and marine contractors, and provide reliable product solutions tailored to customer needs.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for marine gensets, engines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Identify and approach new customers including shipyards, shipping lines, ship owners, and marine contractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and procurement teams.
• Conduct product presentations, technical consultations, and site visits to understand customer requirements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
• Support after-sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
• Participate in marine exhibitions, seminars, and trade events to promote the company’s products and brand.

Kualifikasi Pekerjaan

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in sales of marine equipment, gensets, or similar products
• Understanding of marine propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment such as gensets, pumps, and control systems
• Ability to translate technical specifications into commercial proposals
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with marine classification standards such as BKI, ABS, LR, or DNV is an advantage
• Experience with engine generator systems such as Mitsubishi, Cummins, or Yanmar is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
