Job summary

DKatalis is seeking a senior engineering leader to join our cross-functional squad and drive the delivery of robust, scalable digital products. You will mentor engineers, influence architectures, and partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to ship high-quality software across frontend, backend, and APIs.

You will lead by example, foster a culture of feedback, and push for excellence while balancing speed and value. 10+ years of experience and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications.
• Good written and spoken English
• Mastery of some abstract programming concepts and/or design patterns (OOP or FP)
• Hands-on experience with Flutter or React for front-end development
• Experience with Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD)
• Experience working in Agile Software development
• Experience collaborating across distributed teams in multicultural environments
• Commitment to end-to-end software architecture across front-end, back-end, and APIs

About the role

You will be part of a cross-functional agile engineering team (squad) responsible to build, deploy and run (support) one or more of our digital products, focusing on leading the team to deliver robust & resilient systems (front-end & back-end).You will work closely with Engineers, Product, Design, and other stakeholders, collaboratively ensuring quality gets built into the product, see your impact in many people's everyday lives, andlead the team while doing it.You will share your learnings within and beyond your team (squad) and mentor budding engineers for good engineering practices. You will foster a culture of providing feedback within the team, between teams, and to stakeholders. You will understand when to provide private feedback and when to provide public feedback. You will also help others to provide feedback.

What will you do

• Working with engineering and product owners to design, refine, and develop the product, from concept to implementation.
• Mentor and Lead the team in creating best-in-class products & experiences for our customers by designing, building, scaling, and evolving our platforms, services, and tools.
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural environment.
• Mentor and lead a team of highly talented and motivated engineers
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications built
• Continuously improve code quality, product execution, automatization, and customer delight
• Drive innovation through experimentation by understanding the purpose of the experimentation and when to fail the experiment.
• You will be able to drive innovation from experimentation results.
• Be able to influence teams within his/her area and lead more senior team members.

What you need to have

• You have at least 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications.
• Good written and spoken English
• Mastery of some abstract programming concepts and/or design patterns, and in some libraries or frameworks (OOP or FP)
• Have hands on experience on either Flutter or React for front-end development framework.
• Experience with Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery for both Mobile & Back-end)
• Experience working in Agile Software development
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across distributed teams in a multicultural environment.
