Job summary

DKatalis is a fintech company seeking an experienced finance professional to lead verification, invoicing, and accounting oversight. You will review payments, generate invoices, and ensure compliance with internal policies, while maintaining accurate ledgers and supporting financial reporting.

The role requires strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, advanced Excel/financial modeling, and at least 5 years in finance/FP&A, preferably in fintech or tech environments. CPA/CA/ACCA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• CPA/CA/ACCA certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in general finance, accounting oversight, or FP&A, preferably within fintech, banking, or fast-paced technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and advanced proficiency in Excel/financial modeling.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• High precision and strong internal control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Payment verification, review payment requests, supporting documents and disbursements.
• Invoicing, billing, and ensuring alignment with contracts.
• Oversee general ledger entries and audit documentation.
• Propose and implement accounting treatments for complex transactions.
• Perform monthly financial reviews and variance analysis.
• Support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.

What You Will Do

Operational Finance

Payment Verification: Review and verify payment requests, supporting documents, and disbursements to ensure accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with internal financial policies.

Invoicing & Billing: Review, generate, and issue timely invoices in strict alignment with signed commercial contracts and sales agreements.

Accounting Oversight

General Ledger & Entries: Oversee and review routine accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledger updates to guarantee accuracy and complete audit documentation.

Accounting Treatment: Propose, research, and implement appropriate accounting treatments for complex transactions and new business initiatives in compliance with relevant financial standards.

Financial Review & Variance Analysis: Review monthly financial statements, analyze variance against historical data, and ensure ledger accuracy prior to closing.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Decision Support: Perform detailed financial analysis, modeling, and data evaluation to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.

Cost & Budget Control: Monitor and track daily operational costs, identifying trends and ensuring spending stays aligned with approved targets.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic rolling financial forecasts across business units.

Performance Reporting: Prepare regular financial performance reports, highlighting key metrics, operational insights, and strategic recommendations for leadership.

What You Need to Have

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, or ACCA) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in general finance, accounting oversight, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably within fintech, banking, or fast-paced technology environments.

Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting knowledge, proficiency in GAAP/IFRS standards, and advanced proficiency in Excel/financial modeling and modern ERP software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).

Analytical Capability: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of translating financial data into business insights.

Attention to Detail: High precision in reviewing invoices, financial transactions, and journal entries with strong internal control awareness.
