Job summary

Digital Edge Data Center is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. You will resolve complex incidents, optimize performance, and support upgrades and migrations in a demanding enterprise environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of network experience in ISP/telecom or enterprise networks, with strong routing, switching, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Telecommunications Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications operations.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, BGP and OSPF; solid network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in ISP, telecoms, or enterprise network environments; strong analytical abilities.

What we need:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Network L3, this role is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of network infrastructure. The Sr. Engineer, Network will serve as a technical subject matter expert and support the resolution of complex network issues while contributing to network enhancement initiatives.

The successful candidate:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications operations
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and network troubleshooting
• Experience working in ISP, telecommunications, or enterprise network environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
