Job summary

Indointernet Tbk (Indonet) is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Network to design, implement, and maintain critical network infrastructure for enterprise connectivity and data center solutions in Indonesia.

You will serve as a technical SME, resolving complex incidents and driving network optimization initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecom operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, information technology, or computer science.
• Minimum 5 years in network engineering or telecom operations.
• Strong knowledge of routing, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in ISP or enterprise networks.

What we need:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Network L3, this role is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of network infrastructure. The Sr. Engineer, Network will serve as a technical subject matter expert and support the resolution of complex network issues while contributing to network enhancement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and services


• Investigate and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues


• Support network upgrade, migration, and optimization projects


• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions


• Monitor network performance and recommend improvements


• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures


• Support capacity planning and infrastructure expansion activities


• Collaborate with internal teams to support business and operational requirements


• Participate in maintenance activities and service restoration efforts


• Ensure compliance with network standards and operational best practices

The successful candidate:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field


• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications operations
  
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and network troubleshooting


• Experience working in ISP, telecommunications, or enterprise network environments


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills


• Good communication and teamwork abilities


• Good competence in English is preferred
