Job summary

PT TeamworX Indonesia is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering Department. You will lead electrical design activities for industrial and infrastructure projects, delivering reliable engineering solutions and documentation.

Responsibilities include developing and reviewing designs, performing system studies, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design.
• Familiar with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and PUIL standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD/ETAP and other design software.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and documents.
• Prepare and review deliverables including SLD, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment specs, and layouts.
• Perform electrical system studies and calculations: load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, protection coordination.
• Review equipment specifications for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate design activities with Mechanical, Process, Civil/Structural, and I&C teams.
• Review drawings, vendor documents, and provide technical support during execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams on electrical matters.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedule, quality, and standards; assist in proposals and reports.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers.

Sr. Electrical Design Engineer (for Design & Engineering)

PT TeamworX Indonesia is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Design & Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical engineering design, engineering calculations, technical documentation, and coordination for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documents for projects.

Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including SLD, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and electrical layouts.

Perform electrical system studies and calculations, including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.

Review electrical equipment specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and standards.

Coordinate electrical design activities with other engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Process, Civil/Structural, and Instrumentation & Control.

Review technical drawings, engineering documents, and vendor documents.

Provide technical support during project execution and resolve engineering/design-related issues.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams regarding electrical engineering matters.

Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedule, quality requirements, and applicable standards.

Support the preparation of technical proposals, material specifications, and engineering reports when required.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior electrical engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in EPCM, industrial, manufacturing, power plant, data center, or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems, low voltage and medium voltage systems, electrical equipment, protection systems, and grounding systems.

Experienced in preparing and reviewing electrical engineering deliverables and calculations.

Familiar with international and local electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and PUIL.

Proficient in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical design/calculation software.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.

Able to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Willing to work based on project requirements and travel to project sites when required.
