Job summary

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa is seeking a Spa Supervisor to organize spa therapists, attendants and daily workers, ensuring high service levels and guest satisfaction. You will work with the Spa & AL Manager to manage costs, implement audits, and report daily tasks while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires 2 years in a five-star hospitality setting, Indonesian nationality with a hospitality degree, and strong leadership with English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality in a similar 5-star role.
• Indonesian nationality with a degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills and a guest-service mindset.
• Ability to perform basic spa and beauty treatments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and organize spa therapists, attendants, and daily workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Spa & AL Manager to monitor costs and daily staff expenses.
• Implement daily check lists, audits, and report pending tasks to the Manager.
• Control, report, and participate in activities of all spa personnel and address staff issues.
• Ensure adherence to property core standards and regular assessments for service levels.
• Assist Manager to ensure spa operations align with policies and guest satisfaction.
• Be flexible to redeploy to other departments as needed and conduct short trainings.

1. Supervise, and organizes spa therapist and spa attendant, ensuring all aspects of the daily spa operation runs smoothly and guests are providing with maximum levels of service and satisfaction. Work together with Spa & AL Manager to maintain cost and monitoring therapist and attendant / daily worker’s cost conscious.

2. Implement daily check & Audit. File daily check list of: defect, glitch, maintenance of the day. Report pending task to Manager.

3. Responsible for controlling, reporting and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in spa department activities. Report to Manager with any staff related issues.

4. Responsible for ensuring implementation of property core standard in the department and implementation of the regular assessments, checklists, and communication to your team and your superior. Responsible for ensuring Spa & Spa Retail operational in line with standard and levels of service and guest’s satisfaction maintain while Manager is off duty.

5. Participate and work together with Manager to ensure that all policies, procedures and rules, set by the management are adhered to by Spa therapist, Spa attendant and Daily worker in Communications at all times. Able to conduct short training.

6. Determinate weekly task and report it as responsibility to Manager. Ensure all administration and collect data in daily basis.

7. To be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Experience in hospitality industry minimum 2-year experience in a similar position in 5 (five) stars.
• Indonesian Nationality with a degree in Hospitality or related field.
• Strong in leadership and coordinating team.
• Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset and people management & development skills.
• Able to do basic Spa and beauty treatments.
