Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to design, validate, and deliver advanced cooling solutions for large-scale data centers in Indonesia. You will oversee end-to-end engineering, perform heat load calculations, select equipment, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.

The role requires hands-on data center cooling expertise, strong knowledge of DX, CRAH/CRAC, chilled water systems, and BMS integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design, thermal engineering, or MEP delivery.
• Proven experience leading engineering activities in data center or mission-critical projects.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data center cooling systems preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC load calculations, CFD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical cooling for large-scale data centers, including heat load and airflow calculations.
• Develop cooling system designs: chilled water, DX, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers, piping, and containment.
• Perform thermal analysis to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Select equipment ensuring energy efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with electrical, BMS, and other teams across projects.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Support installation, commissioning, and field issue resolution.
• Prepare engineering documentation and reports.
