Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is seeking a Sous Chef - Bakery to lead the bakery kitchen alongside the Executive Pastry Chef, upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest delight.

You will mentor pastry teams, influence menu development, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations while delivering exceptional pastry experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

About the Role

As a Sous Chef - Bakery, you will support the Executive Pastry Chef in leading the bakery operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, creativity, and guest satisfaction. You will play a key role in developing exceptional baked products while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning in line with Four Seasons service standards.

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the bakery kitchen.
• Ensure all bakery products are prepared and presented to the highest quality and food safety standards.
• Support menu development and the creation of innovative bakery offerings.
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
• Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and purchasing requirements to maintain operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate closely with culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Proven experience in a supervisory bakery or pastry role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end bakery operation.
• Strong technical expertise in artisan breads, viennoiserie, pastries, and bakery production techniques.
