Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Cross Technology Technical Architect to specify and design cutting-edge solutions across multiple technology domains. You will guide the implementation of system solutions and ensure alignment with client objectives, while supporting pre-sales activities and POC initiatives.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, develop technical specifications, and help prioritize scope for both small changes and larger projects.

Your day at NTT DATA

As a Cross Technology Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you'll leverage your expertise to specify and design cutting-edge solutions across multiple technology domains. Your role centres on ensuring the successful technical design and build of custom elements that meet our clients' business needs. You'll be at the helm of selecting and applying design standards, guiding the implementation and execution of system solutions, and providing detailed advice to improve planning and operations processes.

Working closely with Solutions Architects, you'll develop technical specifications to match client requirements, ensuring that our technical solutions align with their objectives. You'll contribute significantly to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas and manage scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization for small-scale changes, while also assisting with more complex initiatives.

You'll also provide pre-sales technical support, analyzing client requirements in conjunction with their current infrastructure, systems, and business challenges. By leading the scope of work determination, product pricing, and RFP/RFI responses, you ensure that our proposed solutions are both innovative and feasible. Your expertise will be critical in managing client proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, guiding the allocation of resources, and delivering POCs successfully.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• Extensive knowledge of various vendor products and technology positioning.
• Ability to develop and leverage seasoned knowledge of reference architectures.
• Up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in multiple technology domains.
• Proficiency in core frameworks and understanding the problem domains our systems address.
• Proven track record as a developer and architect of new systems/solutions.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships through technical expertise.
• Good client engagement and consulting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
