Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a tenacious Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team in a full-time capacity. You will architect and deliver Anaplan planning solutions for strategic accounts, translating client needs into sophisticated multi-dimensional models and guiding data integration and deployment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in EPM, 5+ years in FP&A, and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills, with a proven track record delivering complex planning projects in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions.
• 5+ years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related areas.
• Sophisticated Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills.
• Experience implementing formal system methodologies (requirements gathering, design, build/deploy).

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver Anaplan planning solutions in strategic accounts.
• Translate client requirements into multi-dimensional Anaplan models.
• Serve as architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.

What you'll be doing:

As an Anaplan Solution architect, you are primarily responsible for architect, design and the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions in strategic accounts. You will:

• Understand, review and gather client requirements per Anaplan defined scoping & analysis


• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models


• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality


• Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions


• Exemplify The Anaplan Way


• Provide candid, meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Project Manager/Business Partner and team


• Participate and/or lead Data Integration and Migration Solutions


• Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

• Background in Finance, Accounting or Supply chain experience


• 6+ years’ experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions


• 5+ years experience in either of following functional areas : Financial Planning & Analysis


• Sophisticated Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills


• Proven knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable)


• Superb written and oral communication skills


• Proven track record to lead execute responsibilities simultaneously


• Appetite for service excellence and a collaborative style


• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in financial planning and analysis strongly preferred


• Passion for business analytics, modeling and planning


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
