Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Golang/Java to join our data backup and recovery product team. You will work on backup, archive, restore, and download features as part of a global product engineering group.

The role is hybrid with Bandung, Indonesia, requiring at least two days in the office weekly. You will collaborate with fellow engineers and leads to deliver high-quality features, fixes, and improvements to the in-market product.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Golang and/or Java/Kotlin.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases; AWS cloud.
• Experience with NoSQL like Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to present ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software in Golang/Java.
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to the Backup product maintenance.
• Implement alerting and monitoring mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot issues in an evolving codebase.
• Collaborate with a scrum team and participate in ceremonies.
• Provide clear status updates.
• Document technical designs clearly.
• Explore new areas and share findings.
• Create detailed design documentation.
