Job summary

Brown Bag Films Bali is seeking a capable software developer to join our production-focused team. You will design, implement, test, and maintain AI-enhanced tooling and web applications.

You will work from requirements to deployment, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to REST API integration and front-end work using modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python and JavaScript skills with REST APIs exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-assisted tools, ML integrations, or generative AI workflows.
• End-to-end development: design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and production tools.
• Participate in requirements identification from initial concept to implementation and support.
• Research and develop new features and tools to improve production workflows.

Job Description:

• Developing AI-assisted tools, machine-learning integrations, or generative AI workflows.
• End to end Development: Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain software applications and production tools.
• Requirement identification: Participate in software development projects from initial requirements through to implementation and support.
• Research and Development: Participate in the research and development of new features, technologies, and tools that improve production workflows.
• Evaluation: Contribute to the evaluation and development of AI-assisted tools where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong software development experience using Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework.
• Full-stack software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing web-based or standalone applications.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Experience working on Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience using Git or another source-control system and participating in code reviews.
