Huge Restaurant in Bali seeks a Social Media Intern to join the marketing team. This contract position offers hands-on digital marketing experience within a vibrant hospitality setting. You will work on social channels, contribute to strategy, and learn from experienced marketers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business with strong English and social media knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of major social platforms and current digital marketing trends.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Creative thinker capable of generating engaging content ideas.
• Basic understanding of content management systems and analytics tools.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest in hospitality and food industry.
• Proficiency with graphic design or video editing software is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and curate content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
• Schedule and post content per the calendar and engagement plans.

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join the marketing team at Huge Restaurant in Bali. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in digital marketing and social media management within a vibrant hospitality environment. Based in Bali, you will work hands-on with our social media channels and contribute to our digital marketing strategy during your placement with us.

What you'll be doing

• Creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant channels
• Scheduling and posting content according to our content calendar and engagement strategies
• Monitoring social media channels and responding to customer enquiries and comments in a timely manner
• Assisting with the development and implementation of social media campaigns to promote restaurant events, promotions and menu items
• Analysing social media performance metrics and reporting on engagement, reach and follower growth
• Collaborating with the marketing team to identify trends and optimise content strategy
• Assisting with photography and videography for social media content
• Supporting the team with research on industry trends, competitor activity and audience insights

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and current digital marketing trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Creative thinking with an ability to generate engaging and original content ideas
• Basic understanding of content management systems and social media analytics tools
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Enthusiasm for the hospitality and food industry
• Proficiency with graphic design or video editing software is desirable but not essential
• Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Meta Business Suite is advantageous
