Job summary

PT Arnott's Indonesia is seeking a Product Development Technologist to deliver hands-on product development for Snacking International projects. This 12-month contract role is based in Bekasi, Indonesia.

You will manage trials, ensure costs and timelines, document all work, and support handover with troubleshooting. You will also explore new product concepts, ingredients, and processes while aligning with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Technology or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in R&D at FMCG (biscuits, crackers, savory).
• Experience in developing new products and understanding ingredient functionality.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Snacking International projects to agreed standards, costs and time frames.
• Coordinates all relevant trials.
• Provides technical information to generate compliance specifications.
• Ensures all projects are fully documented.
• Supports handover with troubleshooting during implementation.
• Develops ideas on product concepts, processes and equipment.
• Improves product quality and production processes.
• Collaborates with suppliers for knowledge sharing and training.
• Ensures compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
