Job summary

Flex, preparing SpinCo from its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment, seeks an SMT engineer to support SMA production and drive efficiency. You will optimize the SMA process, develop production programs, and lead equipment qualification efforts to improve yield and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong SPC/Six-Sigma knowledge, and proven problem-solving and communication abilities. Indonesian-based on-site role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing; SMT Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer roles preferred.
• Solid knowledge of SPC and Six-Sigma methodologies (Green/Black belt preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute SMA process including preparation, optimization, and documentation for test runs and mass production.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance First Pass Yield, productivity, and reduce defects.
• Develop, validate, and maintain production programs for SMA equipment (Screen Printers, Dispensers, SPI, P&P, Reflow).
• Evaluate and qualify new SMA equipment to improve capability and efficiency.
• Provide technical support for SMA processes within MES, QCC, and RCCA to improve yield and reliability.
• Introduce advanced manufacturing technologies and best practices in SMT manufacturing.
