Job summary

Therapy Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, whether as a clinical fellow or an experienced clinician, to support children in school and early intervention settings.

You will collaborate with a seasoned SLP mentor, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to an evidence-based care environment. Compensation is competitive, with full company benefits and a supportive professional culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of a child's speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on assessments.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to children using play-based and other approaches.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support success.
• Integrate goals into educational programming and daily routines.
• Educate families and caregivers about communication development and intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and service records.
