Job summary

Privy in Jakarta is hiring an early-career Operations Engineer to monitor and maintain observability of production systems, capacity, logs, and third-party services. You will perform 24/7 production monitoring and escalate incidents promptly to stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT/CS, at least one year of experience, and familiarity with Linux/UNIX. Knowledge of Java or Golang is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain observability of production performance, capacity, logs, and third-party service capacity.
• Report and escalate incidents to Product Stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Product Stakeholders to support operational objectives.
• Prepare incident reports for all production incidents.
• Perform 24/7 monitoring of the production environment.
• Execute mitigation actions from Runbooks to restore service promptly with authorization.
• Prepare and deliver reports on a bi-daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet compliance.

• Report and elevate incidents or problems to Product Stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Product Stakeholders to support operational and service objectives.
• Prepare and document incident reports for all production incidents.
• Perform 24/7 monitoring of the production environment.
• Execute mitigation actions documented in approved Operational Runbooks to restore service promptly, with full authorization to act without further approval.
• Prepare and deliver reports on a bi-daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in IT/Computer Science/related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language; knowledge of Java or Golang is a plus.
• Proactive and disciplined.
• Good communication and presentation skills, able to make reports.
• Positive attitude, fast learner and able to work as a team.
