Job summary

PT Macleods Pharmaceuticals Indonesia is seeking a Civil Engineer Officer to supervise civil works for the company's new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Semarang. You will ensure construction progress aligns with drawings, specifications and safety standards on site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, at least 1 year of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read construction and structural drawings, and a strong grasp of cost estimation, BOQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• 1+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read construction & structural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Familiar with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contractor bill verification.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and site quality control standards.
• Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil works in line with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Perform layout, measurement, and setting out with high accuracy
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQ, and rate analysis based on drawings and market prices
• Verify contractor progress, measurements, and bills for payment
• Calculate and control material requirements (TMT steel, cement, etc.)
• Conduct site quality control and material testing
• Read construction drawings, operate AutoCAD, and support technical execution
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
