Job summary

Kapal-Laut is seeking a responsible and motivated Shop Manager to lead our SPG/sales brand ambassador teams, drive sales, and oversee daily operations across multiple shops in Bali. You will monitor sales performance, maintain excellent customer service, ensure store standards, and develop team performance while coordinating with HR, Operations and Finance to continuously improve shop results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Sales-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple shops and travel between Bali locations.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Disciplined, responsible, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales performance and ensures shops achieve sales targets.
• Maintain excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Supervise daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and store presentation.
• Lead, coach, and motivate SPG teams to improve sales and service performance.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, leave requests, and shift changes.
• Monitor staff discipline, grooming, and compliance with company SOPs.
• Ensure product displays and visual merchandising meet company standards.
• Follow up on operational issues, including missing or stolen items.
• Coordinate with HR, Operations, Finance, and other departments.
• Prepare regular reports and recommend improvements to sales and shop operations.
