Job summary

PT.INDUSTRI ABADI JAYA seeks a capable professional to establish a new shipping company, handling legal matters, licensing, and all shipping permits. The role requires coordinating with Ditjen Hubla, KSOP, Dirjen Perhubungan laut, and related agencies.

You will build networks with ports, terminals, tugboats, maritime agencies, trucking, and warehousing, and design SOPs and safety systems for the operations team.

Qualifications

• Diploma D3 in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Transportation, Maritime Law, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping or logistics, startup experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of shipping regulations, licensing, and clearance procedures.
• Strong working relationships with Ditjen Hubla, KSOP, and relevant industry associations.
• Well-versed in field operations and coordination with Indonesian ports.

Responsibilities

• Set up for a new shipping company including legal matters, licensing, and all shipping operational permits.
• Coordinate with Kementrian Perhubungan, KSOP, Dirjen Perhubungan laut, and other relevant agencies.

Job description

Set up for a new shipping company such as legal matters, licensing, and all shipping operational permits.

Responsible to coordinate with Kementrian Perhubungan, KSOP, Dirjen Perhubungan laut, and other relevant agencies.

Establishing a network with the external party including ports, terminals, tugboats, maritime agency services, trucking, and warehousing.

Making and develop compliance with a Standard Operational Procedures (SOP), safety management systems, as well as designing the initial business work flows to set up the operational team.

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma Degree (D3), preferably majoring in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Transportation, Maritime Law, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping or logistics industry (experience in setting up a company from scratch is highly preferred).

Must deeply understand shipping regulations, SIUPAL processing, KSOP licensing, and maritime clearance procedures.

Have a strong and professional working relationship with Ditjen Hubla, KSOP, and relevant industry associations.

Well-versed in field operations and cooperation channels across major Indonesian ports.
