Job summary

JAPFA is seeking an SHE Supervisor to oversee and implement Safety, Health, and Environmental programs within a Strategic Business Unit, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

You will develop policies, conduct audits, investigate incidents, deliver training, maintain records, and report to stakeholders. A Bachelor’s in OHS or related field with 3+ years of experience and K3 Umum certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SHE supervision, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Certified K3 Umum (General Occupational Safety and Health Expert) or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian SHE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct effective training sessions and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular SHE inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide SHE training and awareness programs to employees at all levels within the SBU.
• Maintain accurate records of SHE performance, incidents, inspections, and training.
• Collaborate with SBU management to integrate SHE considerations into operational planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and submit SHE reports to relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement and communication with employees.
