Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, SHE to oversee Safety, Health and Environment for its manufacturing sites in Indonesia. The role drives continued reduction in Total Incident Rates and improvements in environmental metrics.

You will supervise the site SHE team, ensure regulatory compliance, lead internal and external audits, and manage budgets while aligning KPIs with leadership across the site and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health).
• Minimum 10 years experience in managing Plant Operation and Safety (SHE).
• Certified Safety Professional by Depnaker (Ahli K3 Umum).
• Familiar with OSHA and NFPA codes.
• Experience in FMCG is preferred.
• Exposure to aerosol industry, flammable/hazardous chemicals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the site SHE team and provide coaching to strengthen competencies.
• Partner with Site manager to deploy leader standard work for managers and supervisors.
• Lead activities to comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Develop internal audit processes including GEMBA and behavior observations.
• Ensure timely closure of SHE-related corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering/maintenance to ensure inspections and preventive maintenance for SHE-critical equipment.
• Support external regulatory inspections (safety, health, environment, fire protection).
• Lead incident investigations and deploy corrective actions.
• Lead training processes for SHE programs.
• Verify accuracy of data in SHE databases (e.g., Entropy) and analyze trends.
• Manage SHE department budget.
• Ensure compliance with local/state/country SHE regulations.
• Review and support initiatives related to proposed SHE regulations.
• Align KPIs with Site Director/Manager and Regional SHE Manager.
• Provide SHE expertise to internal and external audits.
• Ensure effective implementation of ISO, SHE, 5S, Halal, CPPKRTB.
