Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten years in elevator/escalator industry with leadership experience.
• Market knowledge and strategic thinking are required.
• University education in Technical/Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Area business activities in accordance with Company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Manage and lead the Area Operation.
• Motivate staff and technicians to build good teamwork.
• Manage Existing Installation area portfolio to achieve Service, Repair and MOD targets.
• Negotiate for Service contracts, Repair Sales and MOD Sales and targets.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance and corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness to prevent accidents and ensure Health & Safety procedures are implemented.
• Organise inspections or patrols and take remedial actions as necessary.
• Report, investigate injuries, damages and losses incurred.
• Ensure calibration of inspection/measurement/test equipment.

Job description

• Manage and handle area portfolio to propose and negotiate for Service contract, Repair Sales and MOD Sales and target.
• Perform inspection and ensure compliance and corrective actions are carried.
• Portfolio growth by conversion, recovery and gain.
• Actively promote safety awareness to prevent accidents.
• Ensure company’s Safety and Health procedures, work instructions, programmes and requirements are implemented in responsible areas / activities.
• Overall responsible for site Safety and Health issues at responsible area / activities.
• Organize inspections or patrols and take remedial action if necessary.
• Report, investigate injuries, damages and loss incurred.
• Promote action to prevent occurrence of accidents and initiate analysis to discover accident trends.
• Ensure all inspection / measuring / test equipment used including suppliers and sub-contractors are properly calibrated
