Job summary

KONE is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineering Site Surveyor to conduct site surveys for modernization tenders across Indonesia. You will document survey results and support project ordering, with willingness to travel, and communicate with customers on non-technical questions.

This role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in elevator engineering, strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to translate customer needs into technical specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any major.
• Preferable 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in the elevator business.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Dynamic, highly motivated to achieve target.
• Able to work in a team with good communications and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to perform site surveys for modernization tenders.
• Document survey results for modernization projects.
• Occasionally support projects with survey orders.
• Willing to work outside office hours when needed.
• Communicate with customers on non-technical queries during tender and surveys.
• Travel across Indonesia to survey across regions.
• Use survey tools provided and the KONE survey platform.

Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE)-Site Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Accountable and responsible to do site survey for Modernization Project during tender
• Accountable and responsible for survey result for Modernization Project
• Occasionally support Project with survey order
• Be able to accommodate survey time outside office hour
• Be able to communicate for less technical queries from customer during tender and order survey
• High mobility and willing to support survey across Indonesia region
• Be able to utilize survey tools provided and KONE survey platform

Requirements :

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree from any major
• Preferable 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in the elevator business
• Strong Analytical and Conceptual Thinking.
• Dynamic, highly motivated to achieve target
• Able to work in a team, Good communications skills, able to work in under minimum supervisions
• Holistic understanding of different building types and customer segments
• Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs (requirements) into technical specifications
