Job summary

Grab is seeking a Workplace Technology specialist to deliver and operate office technology across Grab offices. You’ll manage AV and meeting-room systems, security hardware, and deployment coordination, reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Technology.

The role is based in Jakarta and may involve travel to regional offices. You will oversee vendor coordination, track project status, and apply smart, on-site judgment to incidents and deployments while leveraging AI to streamline

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure, AV, physical security tech, facilities tech, or related project delivery.
• Experience supporting office builds, expansions, tech refreshes, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of AV systems, meeting-room equipment, displays, audio, cabling, and basic network connectivity.
• Exposure to access control, CCTV, visitor-management hardware.
• Experience coordinating vendors, inspecting installations, and following up on defects.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain docs.
• Willingness to be on-site and handle hands-on technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workplace technology for office builds, expansions, renovations, and refresh from site assessment through handover.
• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, meeting-room tech, displays, and related infrastructure.
• Support physical security infra delivery and operations, including access control, CCTV, visitor-management devices.
• Coordinate site access, installation windows, safety requirements, downtime, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage vendors and contractors, validate installation quality, track defects, ensure delivery meets scope, cost, timeline, and standards.
• Resolve hardware, AV, security, and network-adjacent incidents; maintain accurate docs.
• Maintain project trackers, risks, dependencies, asset records, and status updates.
• Use AI and automation to improve documentation and workflows with human on-site judgment.

Get to Know the Team

Grabber Technology Solutions (GTS) provides secure, reliable, and intuitive workplace technology experiences for Grab employees. The Workplace Technology team owns the physical and digital workplace capabilities that ensure collaboration across offices, meeting rooms, event spaces, and hybrid working environments. We partner with business leaders from Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, IT, Corporate Security, Procurement, and external technology providers to create consistent and scalable workplace experiences across Grab.

Get to Know the Role

You will support the delivery and operation of Workplace Technology across Grab offices. Your scope will include office-build technology, AV infrastructure, physical security infrastructure, vendor coordination, and project delivery.

We are looking for sound technical judgement, strong stakeholder coordination, and a willingness to work on-site. You will provide the human accountability needed to assess site conditions, validate installations, resolve physical infrastructure issues, and make informed decisions during projects and incidents.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Technology. The role is based in Jakarta and may require travel to support critical projects across Grab's regional offices.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Deliver workplace technology for office builds, expansions, renovations, and refresh, from site assessment through handover.
• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, meeting-room technology, displays, collaboration equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Support physical security infrastructure delivery and operations, including access control, CCTV, visitor-management devices, and associated site hardware.
• Coordinate site access, installation windows, safety requirements, business downtime, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Manage vendors and contractors, validate installation quality, track defects, and ensure delivery meets agreed scope, cost, timeline, and technical standards.
• Resolve hardware, AV, security, and network-adjacent infrastructure incidents; and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Maintain project trackers, risks, dependencies, asset records, and status updates for assigned workplace technology projects.
• Use AI and automation to improve documentation, reporting, knowledge management, and routine workflows, while applying human judgment for on-site and business-critical decisions.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, AV, physical security technology, facilities technology, or relevant technical project delivery.
• Experience supporting office builds, site expansions, technology refreshes, or infrastructure implementation projects.
• Working knowledge of AV systems, video conferencing, meeting-room equipment, displays, audio systems, cabling, and basic network connectivity.
• Exposure to physical security infrastructure, such as access control, CCTV, visitor-management systems, turnstiles, or related hardware.
• Experience coordinating vendors, inspecting physical installations, validating commissioning outcomes, and following up on defects.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, maintain project documentation, and elevate delivery risks.
• Comfortable working on-site and responding to hands‑on technical issues that cannot be resolved through remote support or automation.
