Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia (Matcha Talent) is seeking a Senior Visual Merchandiser to elevate luxury brand standards across Jakarta boutiques. You will translate global VM guidelines into flawless in-store presentations, balance aesthetics with commercial needs, and lead seasonal window and display installations.

Reporting to Head of Retail Marketing, you will collaborate with store teams and external display vendors, manage VM tool budgets, and ensure accurate execution of brand storytelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Marketing, or related major.
• 3–5 years of visual merchandising, window installation, and store styling in luxury fashion.
• Deep knowledge of visual presentation, lighting, spatial planning, and prop fabrication.
• Proficiency in design software and MS Office (Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD/SketchUp, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Job Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Merchandiser to maintain and elevate visual brand standards, window displays, and in-store presentation across their luxury boutique network. In this role, you will act as the guardian of global brand image guidelines, translating regional VM direction into flawless boutique execution across key retail locations in Jakarta.

You will balance artistic vision with business acumen, adapting display plans based on store layouts, local inventory levels, and sales trends. Managing the VM lifecycle end-to-end, you will oversee seasonal window setups, collaborate with external display vendors, manage VM tool budgets, and train store teams to uphold daily luxury presentation standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Marketing, or a related major.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of visual merchandising, window installation, and store styling experience within a luxury goods or high-end fashion retailer, particularly bags or shoes.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Deep knowledge of visual presentation techniques, lighting, spatial planning, and prop fabrication.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (or AutoCAD/SketchUp).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) mandatory.
• Professional & Personal Skills: Excellent project management, multi-tasking abilities, vendor negotiation, and polished interpersonal communication.
• Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English for interpreting global VM guidelines and presenting visual plans.
• Operational Readiness: Ability and willingness to conduct store installations and window changes outside standard boutique hours (early mornings, evenings, or weekends).
