Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Technician based in Toka, North Sulawesi. You will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Sandvik underground drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations in the field.

The role requires over 4 years of maintenance experience, a strong background in electrical and hydraulic systems, and knowledge of Sandvik drill machines (S-series to X-series).

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in maintenance.
• Proven track record in maintaining and troubleshooting Sandvik or similar OEM mining equipment (e.g., loaders, drill rigs, underground trucks).
• Strong foundation in electric and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge and experience with Sandvik Drill machines (S series-X series).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Sandvik underground drilling equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Repair and replace parts, following instructions and manuals.
• Interpret mechanical designs and maintenance manuals; assemble and dismantle for alignment and adjustments.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently and verify results; track operating equipment for problems.
• Document performed work according to procedures and work instructions.
• Communicate with customers at a basic level and refer to the responsible person.
• Provide feedback to line manager on maintenance and service challenges.
• Provide limited guidance to level 1/trainees.
• Ensure all work procedures follow safety standards and use provided tools.
• Prepare and execute activities in line with SHEQ rules and promote safety awareness.

Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Senior Service Technician based in Toka - North Sulawesi. This position is responsible for PPH Rock Drill support for Underground Equipment Operation by Machmahon

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Sandvik underground drilling equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Repair and replaces parts, following instructions and technical equipment manuals.
• Interpret basic mechanical designs and maintenance manuals, assembling and dismantling to make necessary alignments and adjustments.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently and verify task results and tracks operating equipment to detect possible problems.
• Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions.
• Basic customer communication - can explain basic operating procedures and refer to responsible/relevant person.
• Give feedback to line manager/team leader with regards to equipment maintenance and service challenges.
• Limited guidance to level 1/trainees.
• Ensure that all work procedures (utilizing the tools provided), are carried out according to safety standards.
• Prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to others.

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE

As the matrix organization you will be collaborating with many people within Sandvik in both global and SEA regions, including Business Line Managers and factories in Tampere and Alachua. Report to representative Site Supervisor, Workshop Superintendent/Field Superintendent Collaboration with the parts team and Roto team that working on the same area.

PREFERRED ENVIRONMENT & MOBILITY

• Field - Any environment (Location Customer Sites / Workshops)
• Willing to travel globally within Sandvik area and/or from site to site within country of Indonesia.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Over 4 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in the mining or heavy equipment industry.-
• Proven track record in maintaining and troubleshooting Sandvik or similar OEM mining equipment (e.g., loaders, drill rigs, underground trucks).
• Have a strong foundation in electric and hydraulic
• Have knowledge and understanding and experience of Sandvik Drill machine (s series-x series).
