Job summary

HanesBrands Indonesia is seeking a skilled Textile Materials Sourcing professional based in Cikarang. You will evaluate reference samples, coordinate with RM and vendors, and lead supplier capability development to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Textile/Colour Engineering, 3–5 years’ relevant experience, and fluency in English. Strong negotiation, project management, and meticulous documentation are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile/Colour Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in textile material sourcing, development or quality control.
• Fluent English in written and spoken is a must.
• Knowledge of yarn spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing; understanding of fabrics and elastics production quality standards.
• Strong proficiency in MS Windows based software (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Analyze reference samples: identify fibre composition, construction, finish, and performance specs.
• Brief technical requirements to RM/vendors for requalification of materials.
• Research and evaluate alternative raw material suppliers for cost-effective duplication.
• Coordinate with 3rd party lab to conduct physical and function tests, and compare results against original quality.
• Collaborate with Regional (Australia) RM team and supplier/vendor to ensure duplication quality can be submitted on time and meet original requirements.
• Involve/lead supplier capability development projects.
