KBR is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to drive the delivery of the Telecoms Package and support the Telecoms Lead Engineer in all activities. You will develop Telecoms Systems Specifications, SBOMs, and block diagrams, reviewing studies such as PAGA and VSAT, and coordinating with clients and contractors.
A Bachelor's in E&E Eng (Telecommunications) and 10–12 years in Oil & Gas telecoms is expected. This role requires ability to liaise across disciplines and ensure compliance with
Responsible for the design, specification and services related to communication systems, such as satellite, line of sight, fiber optic, phone, public address systems and the transmission of data from supervisory control and data acquisition system. Under general supervision, independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 10+ years.
